In normal antigen COVID-19 testing, the user measures whether or not they have COVID-19 infection. The antibody test, however, indicates how much protection (through antibodies against COVID-19) you have in your blood. The more antibodies, the more protection. You build up antibodies after a COVID-19 infection, or after vaccination.
The build-up and decline of protection against COVID-19 is different for every person. Slowly in some and quickly in others. Some people still have a high protection (high antibody-level) many months after a vaccination, with others this can be very low or even zero after a few days. It is therefore advisable to measure specifically per person how many antibodies you still have if you had your last vaccination or infection some time ago. It is therefore good for people who have been vaccinated, have had Corona or have had no vaccination to read here why an antibody test that indicates how much antibody you still have is useful.
The Lomina antibody test is the ONLY test in Europe that can be used as a SELF-TEST and also provides an indication of HOW much protection you have.

Especially for pharmacies, we have put together some additional information, which you can find here.
There is also a counter display. See the appendices for more information and the set-up instruction.
If a body still has a lot of antibodies and a booster shot with even more antibodies follows, this can cause a (serious) reaction from the body. Our advice is therefore: test yourself for the amount of antibodies that you still have in your blood before taking a booster vaccination. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
