The Corona rapid tests must be performed under the supervision of a qualified person. Many antigen rapid tests are also available as a self-test, these then have a CE-sign with 4 digits behind it (for instance CE1434). There are different types of rapid tests: lollipop tests, saliva tests and nasal tests (shallow 2-3 cm in the nose) or deep (nasopharyngeal).
ClearSafeProducts offers both the professional and the self-test. The professional tests (with CE) can be used anywhere in the European Union. The SELF-test may also be used anywhere with CE approval from a notified body, however, a description (IFU) of the language of the country in which it is used by consumers must be included in the box.
