With normal antigen COVID-19 testing, the user measures whether or not they have COVID-19 infection. The antibody test, however, indicates how much protection (through antibodies to COVID-19) you have in your blood. The more antibodies, the more protection. You build up antibodies after a COVID-19 infection, or after vaccination.
Note: the build up and decrease of this protection is different for every person. One person's protection is slow and another's is fast. It is therefore advisable to measure specifically for each person how many antibodies you still have if you had your last vaccination some time ago. The Lomina antibody test is the ONLY test in Europe that can be used as a SELF-TEST and also gives an indication of HOW much protection you have.

The symptoms of flu and COVID-19 are often the same such as colds, coughs, tightness of the chest and fever. Therefore, there is a new rapid test that can measure whether you have the flu or COVID-19. It is actually an improved version of the antigen rapid test, because that only indicates whether or not you have COVID-19.
